Has anyone else got shingles from the flu shot??
I had the flu shot 9 days ago and I have developed painful shingles on my back…my arm reacted straight after the shot, I also had the flu from the shot. Has anyone else reacted like me??

No, but it may not be from the vaccine. They vaccine and needle are completely sterilized until the package it comes in is opened.

Can I get a flu shot if I’m recovering from Shingles?
I’ve already finished a course of Valtrex and am on my 3rd week of recovery. I don’t have symptoms any more and my scabs are starting to heal.

Don’t bother. There is no benefit in a flu shot.
Do NOT get vaccinated.
A vaccinated person is MORE likely to get a disease than a non-vaccinated person. The whole theory of vaccination is flawed. It causes a weakening of the immune system thus making those who are innoculated more susceptible to disease.
There are so many awful side effects to vaccination that it should be considered extremely dangerous.
Just sit back and think for a while.
Is there any sense in injecting a disease directly into your body.
We have been subjected to an awful mind control program to enable the drug manufacturers to make a fortune.

Good question!
According to the CDC:
If you are sick with a fever when you go to get your flu shot, you should talk to your doctor or nurse about getting your shot at a later date.
However, you can get a flu shot at the same time you have a respiratory illness without fever or if you have another mild illness.

I have never been sick in my life. And since i got the tetanus shot i have been sick very often. I think Tetanus activated or triggered the chicken pox virus

Shingles is not caused from that. Things like stress cause shingles, as shingles is the delayed form of the chicken pox. It hides around and comes out when your body is weakened, like being already sick, highly stressed, anxious, etc.

As I understand it, the vaccine you would get would depend on whether you have ever had chicken pox

In the appropriate age group, 60 and over, the zoster vaccine is given whether they have a known history of chickenpox or not, because the overwhelming majority of people that age were exposed to chickenpox, whether they know it or not. The vaccine is not licensed in your age group, so to get it, a doctor would have to prescribe it off-label. If you wanted to know if you had had chickenpox as a child, get a varicella IgG blood titer.
