And since babies have very less immunity, they suffer from rashes on the skin, eyes and face because of this health condition. This makes it even more important to treat genital herpes.

This drug is categorised under pregnancy category B. Although this drug may not harm the foetus, it is always safer to talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant. In turn, this medication passes in to breast milk and may harm the newborn baby. It is better to avoid it when you are breastfeeding. Always consult a doctor before using this medication. Also, DO NOT overdose it under any circumstances.
