Even if the infection starts reducing before the course is over, complete the whole course.
Store this medication at room temperature and keep it away from moisture and heat. If you are prescribed Valtrex liquid, store it in the refrigerator, but do not freeze it. You should throw away used Valtrex, if it is older than 28 days. Do not overdose under any circumstances. If you miss a dose, take the next one and carry on with the cycle. Do not double dose to cover up. If you think you have taken too much of this medication, call the doctor immediately.
