I have some tingling on my head? Any ideas what it might be (seriously)?
About a week ago, my scalp felt like it was irritated, but it was not. I had not changed my daily routine. As a few days have progressed, there are no bumps or scars on my head or redness of any kind. Yet the crown of my head tingles and burns I need to get to a doctor, but it is weird because it isn’t an irritation to shampoo, there is no flaking or redness or scars and it isn’t getting worse or better. And, it isn’t a sunburn because I haven’t been exposed to sunlight. I thought it might be shingles but there is no sign of it, it isn’t dematitis or some infection of the scalp. Anyone have any ideas what it might be so I can ask my doctor about it? Also, I feel find otherwise, I don’t fee sick at all. It feels like tingling and burning on the crown of my scalp. Not necessarily on top of the skin, but just underneath it.

Look into the crown chakra, what you have could be a good thing. If you tend to see a golden color, maybe when you close your eyes, this has something to do with it.
Hope this helps.

Do I need to re-shingle my roof?
Thirty-two years old; asphalt; no signs of wear; no leaks. Moderate climate (Virginia).

admin answers:
Invite a professional roofer to inspect your roof, and to determine that all of the sheathing is intact. Typically asphalt shingles have about a 30-year useful life so you may be due. As long as the sheathing, joists, etc. Are all in good shape new shingles will be easy and inexpensive. Opt for new ridge vents, you’ll be glad you did.

Is it OK to vaccinate a 10 month old for chicken pox?
I am 37 and have been diagnosed with shingles. My 10 month old son has not been vaccinated for chicken pox yet. My pediatrician said to bring him in and if he wasn’t showing any signs of having contracted chicken pox yet, they would give him the vaccine for it. She said that normally they would not do it until 15 months. So that got me worried. I looked it up and the vaccine appears to be approved for kids aged 12 months to 12 years. So my question is, is it OK to vaccinate at 10 months?

You’re not going to get better advice from strangers on Y!A than from your child’s doctor.

How can I make this more descriptive?
Max read the letter four more times. He jumped up and down with excitement. Then he grabbed some copper pieces and ran out the door toward Rusty’s Equipment. He carefully scanned the area near him for the security guards. Still, there were no signs of anything. Max looked up, checking the skies. Hundreds of chimeras raced by like a busy road.
When Max arrived at the store, he was surprised how different it was compared to the rest of Patropoli Tower. The front door was slanted, the window was cracked, and the roof had only a few ripped shingles. Since Max arrived, he noticed that the outside of the buildings looked fancy and well kept, but the inside was always out of place and trashed. This place was different. Max shuffled and peeked through the window. All he could see was the cashiers desk with some newly purchased clothes on it, several tools on a shelf, and a few coats racked on a movable cart. He looked further to the right until the side of the window blocked his view. Miranda was sitting on a bench near the shoe section, looking around nervously, waiting. Max smiled and opened the door trying to sneak up on her. He slowly tiptoed over.
“Miranda!” he yelled with happiness, not in his usual voice.

I hired what I thought was a licensed and insured roofer to redo my roof come to find out he is neither and h?
..find out he is not licensed or insured and he began to strip parts of my roof and install economy no warranty shingles.A contract was written but I never signed it because he said I didn’t have to….the shingles were supposed to be 30 year shingles…when I confronted him about it he told me don’t worry he has me covered and that’s how he keeps his prices low. These shingles are discolored and I mentioned that to him right away before I had any knowledge about the shingle …he had all of the packages turned away from the house so that I would not see the ECONOMY NO WARRANTY labels on the packaging…he has not been around since I confronted him and all of his tools are scattered all over my yard and front porch and there is even some on my roof not to mention the dumpster that’s been sitting in my yard for almost 2 weeks now…HELP…what do I do and what about all the stuff including about 20 packages of shingles sitting in my driveway that I do not want because they are not warranted…I paid him half up front…and now my roof is a disaster with roof boards exposed.I live in Massachussetts.

The Commonwealth’s Attorney General’s office has a number you can reach. Try calling on Tuesday. Mass.gov (or similar) is the web-site that takes you to the right page. Phil’s idea about locking up the crook’s tools is not so good. Those guys can get nasty and vandalize things on you. I DO suggest that you inform the local police about this situation. AND go have a chat with the Building Inspector.when attempting to sue these bums, swhat frequently happens is you win a judgement, but getting money is a totally different story. These fly-by-nights usually don’t have a pot to piss in.
