Would the rash and sores from shingles leave scars?
My little brother(well he is 19) is in in the hospital. They think its shingles. I haven’t heard anymore than that. I looked up what causes the disease. But will he have scars and stuff from this?
As I said, he is in the hospital and is 3 hours away from me. I had to hear this from his X who lives out on the coast. I am so very worried about him. If he is still there doesn’t that mean there is something to worry about?
Ok now I found out he told Bee that its deadly or could be… Please tell me that is not true and he is exaggerating!

He may have residual scarring, but more important is what we call “post-herpetic neuropathy”. That pain can last a year or more. Ask his doctors for lidoderm patches when he is discharged if he still has pain

I take numerous medications for high blood pressue, cholestorol, and arterial disease, within the last 6 months have had shingles and they have gone away, now I have gout in ankles and feet, but notice ordor of ammonia when I sweat, what causes that ammonia smell?

Happened to me from one of the cholesterol drugs I was on at one time, They told me I was nuts but it was gone as soon as I changed. Good luck figuring it out.
