Does the chicken pox vaccine prevent shingles?
i really need to know because my best friends got it and i dont want it, we’re supposed to b seeeing each other tomorrow and not being able to touch is going to b annoying n i dont want her to infect my other new friends, i’ve got the shot but i dont know if they have, get the picture?

The chickenpox vaccine does not prevent shingles. But you cannot get shingles from anybody else. You can only get chickenpox from someone with shingles, if you are not immune to chickenpox.

how long does shingles last?(read)?
alright heres some info. that might help. im 13 yrs old,im 5″6 [idk if height has to do witha nythin but w.e] and the shingles is like under my armpit like maybe round my ribcage and sumwat on my back.
i heard tht shingles is painful but luckily mine isnt painful its jus a breakout and i kno its shingles becuz ive seen pictures of it online and they look alot like wut i have. so how long will it last for me? im going to the doctor today but im just wondering how long?

If you are in otherwise good health, the rash should be pretty much gone in about a week. You may, however, experience some post-herpetic neuralgia, pain that persists after the rash is gone.

Does anyone remember these crisps they were called ‘Shingles’?
I do! Or was the name something that sounded similar to shingles? It wasn’t ‘Pringles’ lol! They were shaped like witches hats and looked as if there were lots of little rings pushed together? If you do remember them could you please try and find me a picture of them? My friends are getting annoyed with me because I keep saying I do remember them and they say they never existed. Ahhhh well please help! 🙂
